Kennebunk Savings is pleased to announce their newest hires and promotions in Maine. Morgan-Lee Brooks has been named Vice President, Retail Market Manager, and Jess Owens has been promoted to Branch Manager in Kennebunk’s Lower Village.
“It’s a very fulfilling time to work in banking, and we’re excited to be attracting such talent to these critical roles,” said Jennifer K. Johnson, Senior Customer Experience Manager.
Morgan-Lee Brooks comes to the bank with four years of experience in banking after starting her career in the pharmaceutical industry. “I always tell my customers and peers that if I had known how much I loved banking, I would have started in this line of work right out of college,” Brooks said.
Jess Owens, with Kennebunk Savings since 2018, is excited to be in a position to help more customers through difficult experiences in their financial lives. “People who come in for my assistance are sometimes going through something stressful – like fraud, or the death of a loved one, or even simply establishing a new business,” she said. “Seeing the relief on their faces when I tell them everything is taken care of makes coming to work every day worth it.”
Kennebunk Savings is celebrating their 150th anniversary in 2021, exploring their influential past in the region while positioning themselves for a strong future. It is a mutually owned, Maine-chartered community bank headquartered in Kennebunk, Maine operating 17 branch offices in York County, Maine and seacoast New Hampshire. Kennebunk Savings contributes 10% of its after-tax earnings back to the nonprofit community each year through its Community Promise program. The total commitment of that program has meant nearly $14 million for nonprofits in the community since 1994.
