PORTSMOUTH, New Hampshire – Kennebunk Savings Bank is humbled to serve as a premier sponsor for Gather’s 6th annual “Fill the Hall” food drive. Each year, the 895 seats of the historic Music Hall in downtown Portsmouth are filled with colorful bags of donated food for local children in need. Gather’s “Meals 4 Kids” program is geared at supporting the meals students miss when school is not in session. The need is greater and the program is running longer than ever before.
“Seeing those seats fill up each year is such a powerful illustration of how our communities come together even in the most difficult of times,” said Bradford C. Paige, the bank’s President and CEO. “The world is very different now, but our deep commitment to community is the same as always.” Kennebunk will be matching donations, dollar for dollar, up to $7,500. A donation of just $25 supports the meals for one child for one week.
On June 27th, Gather is accepting curbside drop-off from 9 am to 3 pm for needed items such as canned diced tomatoes, canned beans, peanut butter, mustard, ketchup, cereal and oatmeal, as well as personal care items like toilet paper, shampoo, and bar soap.
“During this critical time it’s important to show our support for Gather,” said Paige. “They’ve always been here for our community and we hope you will consider making a contribution today.”
